Who we are

Dual Captures Photography started simply. We both loved looking at the world, and we both liked taking pictures. Valerie always had an eye for it, and expanded John’s view. We'd just walk around, exploring, always with a camera, ready for whatever caught our eye – a splash of light, a quirky angle, a playful animal, or a moment that felt worth holding onto.

Over time, photography became more than just a hobby; it became a way of seeing. A way of paying closer attention. We learned to appreciate the small details, the fleeting moments, the way light and shadow play together.

We kept shooting, and eventually, we wanted to share what we were seeing with more people. These photos are our attempt to do just that – to share a little bit of the world as we experience it. We hope you enjoy them, and maybe, just maybe, they'll inspire you to look a little closer too.
